Seither versteht sich die Gemeinsame Arbetitsstelle als Brücke zwischen wissenschaftlicher Analyse und gewerkschaftlicher Praxis. Ihr Ziel, arbeitsorientierte Forschung anwendungsnah und gesellschaftlich wirksam gestalten.
Kooperationsstellen initiieren, organisieren und moderieren die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Personen und Einrichtungen aus Wissenschaft und Arbeitswelt. So wird es möglich, Probleme aus der Arbeitswelt zu bearbeiten, deren Lösungen mehr erfordern als eine einfache Anwendung wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse.
