Tomorrow marks the start of the first round of collective bargaining negotiations for the metal and electrical industries in Baden-Württemberg and North Rhine-Westphalia. On Thursday, negotiations will continue in Bavaria, Lower Saxony, and Saxony-Anhalt. Tens of thousands of workers are supporting the negotiations with demonstrations.

Better with a Collective Bargaining Agreement From 0 to 100 percent IG Metall in two and a half years

2,200 Euros gross per month. That was a common salary at the logistics company Duvenbeck in Rastatt until 2024. But they organized themselves through IG Metall Gaggenau, elected a works council, and secured a collective bargaining agreement—resulting in up to 6,500 euros more per year. Everyone here is now a member of IG Metall.
